It seems that the Raptors season, again, hinges on one Andrea Bargnani. De ja vu as I remember saying this exact thing last season when the Raptors were “deeper” but had no clear # 2. This is the consistency, or lack thereof, that I have been pining/talking about all season. How is it that you walk onto the Spurs home court, a place so hostile I don’t think we have ever won in, and take a game from the defending champs; then casually stroll onto the less hostile Rockets home court, where they are missing their best (arguably) player in McGrady, and lose a game to a team you already beat this season? Fresh off their upset win over the defending NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs, the Toronto Raptors (16-14) roll into Houston to take on the McGradyless Rockets (14-15). The Raptors defeated the Rockets earlier this season 93-80 in Toronto. Chris Bosh scored a team high 21 points and 10 rebounds. Rockets all-star Tracey McGrady scored 23 points in the loss.
