AltRaps just started a petition to send to MLSE in support of keeping the Sonics in Seattle. The past 24 hours has seen quite the groundswell of online support of this, city by city.
Any mention or link on your websites or blogs to the petition would be appreciated. The vote is this week, so any and all petitions will need to be submitted fairly quickly.
This game wiped me out man. With the spectre of losing another game to the Sonics weighing on me heavily, I started to assess my involvement with this team. Seriously. Not surprisingly, the Toronto media is inept at reporting any developments on the trade front (speculation or otherwise). Leave it to the fellas in New York to keep us up to date on what Colangelo is up too. It has been interesting to read all the trade scenarios the Raptors threw their hats in the ring for over the last year. The latest one being sending last year’s number one pick to Seatle for Ray Allen. This is the second time we could have brought Jesus to the Raptors (the first being trading Carter for him straight up during the Babcock era).
