I must say, I was actually hype to watch this game. Even though the win was pretty much guaranteed, given that Bosh called out his team and told them he doesn’t trust, and the Raptors had a couple good practices in a row…whatever that means. I imagine it means Joey Graham got a couple monstrous dunks, Baston broke a sweat and Bargnani hit 32 in a row because he was bending his knees. Continue Reading
Before I start this post I’d like to send a shout out the National Champion University of Kansas Jayhawks, who knocked off the Memphis Tigers to win the NCAA Tournament on Monday Night. The Tournament is the best basketball in the world to watch and it didn’t disappoint. Continue Reading
I was at this game, so forgive me for not having a play-by-play. Truth be told, I wasn’t really into this one to begin with. If the Raptors lost, I would have launched my philly cheese-steak (which used to be so much better at the ACC) into the Raptors bench. Milwaukee was on the second night of a back-to-back and aren’t playing well at all (for unknown reasons, they have a long athletic front court, with pretty decent guard/small forwards to boot). The Toronto Raptors (23-19) host the Milwaukee Bucks (17-26) on Friday night at the Air Canada Centre. The Raptors knocked off the “Powerhouse” Boston Celtics 114-112 in one of the most exciting games of the season on Tuesday. The Raptors hit 15 three pointers, went 19-19 from the free throw line, turner the ball over 18 times and gave up 16 offensive rebounds. Jose Calderon scored a team high 24 points and dished out 13 assists. Continue Reading
What a great game to watch: Keep it close for 3 quarters, then blow them out in the 4th. I had the Raptors losing this game. Much like the Nets, the Bucks are solid at the two spot. It was a non-issue…Mitchell made some adjustments after the Net’s game, most importantly, was denying Redd the ball. Redd was never allowed to get rolling, and the rest is history. Continue Reading
