Quality win for the Raptors. Not a must win, but it really was. Can’t be losing to teams who aren’t .500 at this point. Can’t get excited over this win, but I am for one reason: the Hawks went on a 13-2 run to start the 3rd, and the Raptors responded with a run of their own to take a lead into the 4th. What a boring game. I put down my notes halfway through the 3rd because there was no chance the Knick’s were going to come back and take it, I would have bet my left nut on it. By far the most entertaining Raptor game I have seen all season. It was worth staying up, and risking being out of commission during my 9am meeting in the morning. It will be the battle of .500 teams when the Toronto Raptors (6-6) visit the Cleveland Cavaliers (5-5) Saturday afternoon. The Raptors are coming off a win over the Grizzlies 95-89. Forward Chris Bosh had a monster game, scoring 22 points and grabbing 19 boards. Center Andrea Bargnani had his first double-double of the season, scoring 13 points and adding 11 rebounds.
