I’m all ready to watch the game Raptors sodomize the Heat, and Rasho isn’t starting. In disgust, I turn the TV off and turn my attention to recovering data from my buddies hard drive (thing was FUBAR’d). Over this last stretch, Rasho has played like a champ, and with Parker, were the only Raptors who showed any heart/passion/desire/competitive fire. I really think he has earned the starting 5 spot, but no, Smitch, in his infinite wisdom, starts Hannibal Lectre. BS…anyways, Raps Fan still loves you Rasho, keep up the solid play my-man, we will be turning to you in the playoffs to battle Howard in the blocks.
Check out Arsenalist, I think he summed up the game perfectly….men and mice, that sound about right?

While I’m all for the Raptors winning, they were honestly playing vs. a D-league team, possibly NCAA caliber even. Additionally, all the raptors’ numbers magically improved. What does this say about the team? That they’re only good when Bosh is in the lineup? Or that they are only good enough to blow out bad teams, and are actually just brutally outclassed by the rest of the league?
Don’t really want to consider either of those possibilities too hard right now…

Raps Fan > did you recover the data? I was ticked that Rasho didn’t get the nod to start, but was pleased that Bargs did quite well (he needs to keep the mask on if that helps him drive more) … heck, even J. Moon was dunking on everybody! Freaky!
Maybe … just maybe … the players were convinced by someone, anyone, that the best way to get traded to a better fitting team (at the end of the season), is to bide your time and just play loose–and in control.

SiC: i did recover the data on one drive, but the second one is in my freezer before i give it another go (it actually works, i am data recoery G*D!, lol).
i watched game in 6 minutes, and the highlights, and really, i am not terribly impressed with bargs beating up on an ncaa calibre team (thanks Darien), but i’m sure if he didn’t, i (we) would have been up in arms about it, lol. lose lose man for the guy.

Raps Fan > lol, no kidding, good thing we won or the “WTF didn’t Rasho start over Bargs” hunters would come out! LOL
NCAA caliber, lol, I dunno. Top 16? I don’t know if they could beat a Final 4 team.
Good to see the Raps pass a lot though. Not enough movement for my taste, but that (we ALL agree) is a Smitch problem, and not a player problem.
Data recovery god! Hmmm, I’ll look you up if I ever get any failures!!! Got a bunch of pulled drives since the wife got me to get rid of all my PC’s

The Heat were so happy to win a game in Milwaukee the night before, they mailed it in against us. Pat Riley even half-admitted that in the Miami Herald article.
This was practice, Cleveland and Detroit are the real tests, fingers crossed!

Sam, can I get a permalink for your Cavs vs Raptors game preview (that is if you’re doing one and if it’s ready).
I’m about to put a short pre-game post on auto-publish for tomorrow morning, and will be out until later on tomorrow.
