IBM Winning Strategies:
- Transition Defense
- No Guard Penetration
- Force GS to Defend
Good strategy, but not in this lifetime. All three winning strategies required the Raptors to do something they can’t, namely play a level of basketball that exceeds their ability. What are you going to do? I had ZERO expectations heading into this game, and if it wasn’t for that one guy out there who actually reads my notes, I would have been fast asleep by half time. These night games are killing me, I got nothing left after the PBP. The Raptors lulled the Warriors to sleep with some boring ass basketball, and clawed their way to a lead in the 4th. Alas, the sleeping lion woke up and sunk dagger after dagger to take the game.
- Parker got 2 shots off in the 4th, with the second one coming with 1 second left in the game.
- Even thought Hump had a decent game, I really hate him. He forces more crap shots than Moon. I really hate him.
- TJ had a solid game. He took a few too many bad shots, but what are you going to do? He got the Raptors back into the game in the 2nd, and did all he could in the 4th, but would have been nice if he Parker and Bargnani with a couple more passes.
- Uhm, wtf is Calderon? Seriously, I have no idea what happened to the guy. I hope he finds his form asap, this is getting brutal to watch.
- Interesting, but check out the 4th quarter stats below. The Raptors starters were -84 for the game (all 5 starters were - something). The Warriors starters were +64 for the game (all 5 starters were + something). The Raptors bench was + 30 for the game (all of them were + something). The Warriors bench were -19 for the game (all of them were - something). Should have played the bench a few more minutes, except Hump, I hate that c*ck sucker.

TJ needs to start (with the right people/team). Caldy needs to come off the bench (with the right people/team). Then sort it out in the summer. Done.
So that is 0/2. Do you think we can get 1 of the last 3?

To be honest no !! At least Miami is losing so they can get a good draft pick. This bunch will make the playoffs but so what. One and done. Guess they could shut down Bosh for the year and really find out what is wrong with his knee??
But he is only one player. I feel more pity for the rank and file Raptor fan who actually attends games. What I do not understand is the Eastern conference teams spend the same kind of money as the Western conference teams but for some unknown reason are not even in the same league.
And the idea that they kept it within 15 without Bosh is again comic relief. We all know the other team shuts it down and takes it easy on the other team. They will lose the next 3 games by roughly 15 points.
I guess the only good thing is the players on the team are being exposed for what they are. Very fortunate young men to be able to make millions of dollars a year playing basically on a second tier team.
Lots of changes in the off season and I hope the team gets better. At the end of the season they play some really bad Eastern conference teams and probably will win a couple of games. Of course they could do that playing some of the local high school teams.

Wow, you really hate Humph, huh? Did he sleep with your girlfriend or something? I’m not the biggest fan of his shot selection and the guy could be tutored by Paris Hilton he’s so dense but you can’t deny that he’s the only big man we have who hustles under the net, even if he doesn’t bump elbows as much as I’d like.

SiC: something needs to be done, i agree. i just don’t know what the right solution is. hopefully smitch and bc figure something out.
John: totally agree with you man, the game wasn’t as close as it seemed. gs was lulled to sleep, until the raptors took the lead at which point they woke up and took over control.
Dinosty: i agree hump is the only big man who hustles around the net. if kept his game within 8 feet, i would be happy. but everytime he gets the ball, he makes a move to the rim. just saying he isn’t the guy we want taking shots, or trying to create his own shots. that’s all i’m saying.

I refuse to address you idiotic hatred of my man Kris.
If there was a game suited for Primoz (going up against another tall skinny white guy), this was it. How did he do? Never got off the bench.
If Rasho was having another stellar game, fine….
I just don’t get it.

I firmly believe that one of the clipboards they carry with them to the huddle is actually a spinwheel. Whereever it lands, that is what they do.

Lose the ‘Battle of the Boards’ against the worst rebounding team in the NBA .. and you’re probably going to lose the game, as well.
