Not much to say, it was a pretty well played game by the Raptors (well, the second half was, I missed the first half). Balanced scoring, another great game by Calderon. Parker was sporting a shaved head, Delfino’s hair didn’t move the whole time he played…talk about product. Nice to have Nesterovic back, his low post presence is missed when he’s not playing. Bosh and Bargnani went down. Hopefully they can play against Cleveland. Joey Graham even got some court time. I think he is officially the 15th man on the bench.
One thing bothered me though: was it necessary to play Calderon 7 minutes at the end of the 4th quarter? I mean, you watch Bosh and Bargnani go down with injuries, is it necessary to tempt fate, and keep him on the floor?
I was pretty bored the 2nd half, so I had some time to think, and I am going to lower my expectations about this team in terms of interior scoring. These guys are jump shooters, and that is pretty much all we’re gonna get out of them. So unless we bring someone in who is a low post threat, I will only make mild references to it from here on out. *yawn*
…peace.

I too was surprised they had Calderon on in the fourth. I actually thought they would’ve brought Dixon off the bench since he played well last week against Memphis and matched well with their undersized guard, Navarro. It was nice to get a real solid win at home. Hopefully Bosh and Bargs are okay.

man, i missed george. best thing that happened to him was getting out of much music. he was going to waste asking people like britney what she thought about things.
i was hoping to see dixon get some court time, but krispy kreme got his minutes, again.

Yeah, I was yelling out to take out Calderon and put Dixon in? I don’t think Dixon even played a minute in the game, doesn’t make much sense cuz it was a complete blowout from the get-go.

actually, if you think about it, it makes sense when you consider the lack of rhyme or reason mitchell employs in his decision making.

When i was watching highlights on the score, tsn and sportsnet and they were talking about bargs and bosh injuries as if they were carted off the court on a stretcher. They both left in a blow out game. there would be no reason to have them attempt a comeback. just kinda bugged me that they made it sound negative.

Boston 80 Knicks 37 with 2 35 left in the third. I thought my eyes were deceiving me.
I can’t believe Isaiah has a job. I just can’t beleive it.

he wont have one for much longer. man, if we could pry david lee from them, that would be sweet. maybe isiah will go for a david lee for krispy kreme (aka darrick martin), it’s really not beyond him.

the knicks pretty much need a complete over haul. they need to buy out marbury, trade away Curry and Richardson, and fire the entire front office and coaching staff. the only guys they should keep are Crawford, Lee, Balkman, Robinson, and Randolph. The Knicks have the highest pay roll in the NBA and seem to have numerous locker room cancers. they suck something fierce

I would get rid of Nate Robinson too. That guy is as greedy a player that I have seen in the NBA…ditto Jamal Crawford. Zach Randolph is a talent but seems to plague every team he plays for.
Lee and Balkman are keepers.
