Toronto Raptor franchise player Chris Bosh tweaked his knee in a scrimmage during the teams training camp in Treviso, Italy. Bosh missed one pre-season game against Spanish powerhouse, Real Madrid, a game in which the Raptors lost 104-103. The all-star is currently listed as day-to-day, but this injury has Raptor fans a little nervous.
Earlier this summer Bosh sat out the FIBA Americas with plantar fascitis in his foot and he only suited up for 69 games last season. The Raptors can ill afford to have Bosh miss much time this season. They are defending Atlantic Division Champions and have their work cut out for them if they look to repeat. The New York Knicks and Boston Celtics made considerable changes to their line ups, which will make it difficult for the Dinos.
So the big questions is…should Raptors fans be worried about Bosh’s injury? The Raps do, in my opinion, have the best bench in the NBA, but if Bosh was to go down to injury could they compete in a tough Atlantic Division? I won’t answer that question because the last thing I want to see this season is a Bosh less Raptors squad.

They should definitely be worried. That run they made last year without him was incredible. It is not reasonable to expect that to repeat itself. Without Bosh, this is a lottery team.

What does everyone think about how analysts are ripping into the raptors? Most analysts have the raps fallilng out the playoffs…suprising, but I must agree with them that the raps are soft and undersized.

i agree, they are soft and undersized. i dont know about missing the playoffs. espn has them at 39 wins, but i think they will be a game or two over 500. i cant remember where i read this, but some odd makers have the raptors as 15-1 or 30-1 favourites for the eastern conference champions…5th best behind cleveland, chicago, boston and detroit. hows that for mixed signals?
