Since NBA basketball news has been scarce for the past couple of months, I figure I’ll speculate the starting line ups for the revamped Atlantic Division.
Toronto Raptors
PG- FORD
SG- PARKER
SF- BARGNANI
PF- BOSH
C - NESTEROVIC
Philadelphia 76ers
PG- MILLER
SG- IGUODALA
SF- KORVER
PF- HUNTER
C- DALEMBERT
New York Knicks
PG- MARBURY
SG- CRAWFORD
SF- LEE
PF- RANDOLPH
C- CURRY
New Jersey Nets
PG- KIDD
SG- CARTER
SF- JEFFERSON
PF- KRSTIC
C- MAGLOIRE
Boston Celtics
PG- RONDO
SG- ALLEN
SF- PIERCE
PF- GARNETT
C- PERKINS
This is just my speculation, but I feel it’s pretty accurate. I don’t know if the Raps will have El Mago coming off the bench and Graham or Delfino starting, but he should get 30 minutes this season.

The only explanation for BC’s inactivity, as far as I can speculate, is that Bargnani is going to have a very large role this season. I suspect, he will be getting 32min+ a game, and have to produce about 17pts+ per game.
As far as the starting lineups, I think you are bang on. The Nets, Knicks and Celtics are scary, on paper anyways. Damn…

It doesn’t really look like we’ll be making any moves so I’m guessing that BC counts on the Raptors to compete against the Atlantic with basically the same team as last year. Maybe in his estimation the experience we gained last year will show through in full color this season. It sounds a little too optimistic for my taste…

I like the sound of Delfino becoming the second coming of Manu, but I’ll need to see it to believe it. as for the starters they look to be bang on, but out of all the atlantic teams i think the raptors have the deepest bench and that will come into play late in the season

well you can scrath Hunter out of the PF position for the 76ers, he was traded to Denver today for Reggie Evans

the raptors really could use a guy like reggie evans…tough rebounding bad ass. good trade by philly, hunter was a bust. got to love 7 footers, always have a job.

I was just reading 30 teams in 30 days for the Raptors on tsn.ca and they have Bargnani starting at centre and Kapono starting at SF. I do like the look of this line up, but Bargs isnt a true big man and I think he would be better used as the starting sf or 6th man.

there is no way bargnani and kapono start together. bargnani doesnt have the size and strength to cover any 4 or 5 in the league, and kapono doesn’t rebound enough to be a starting 3.
