When you think basketball, you think Hip Hop, beer, pizza, wings, annoying Knicks fans…who the heir apparent to Jordan will be. You never think of overpriced coffee and cakes. This may be a stretch, but is it possible that Chuck Swirsky is sponsored by Starbucks? Think about it, how many times have you heard him preach the praises of some Starbucks product; most recently todays post which mentions some sort of lemon green tea beverage. I really don’t have a problem with this, hell, I would start dropping names on the regular if someone decided to pay me for my words. I just felt it necessary to spill the beans. I don’t like people thinking they are getting away with something.

I guess I should talk about what is going on in the finals. The Spurs are pounding on the Cavs. I honestly don’t think three games have been won any easier in the history of any championship series. As I write this, the Spurs are up 9, and look like they are going to walk away handedly with the championship. A question I have is does beating a weak opponent make winning any less sweeter? In this instance the Cavs. Lebron is interesting, he seems to will his way to the rack, but doesn’t will it enough. After last years Miami upset, the west is definitely vulnerable, but the Cavs aren’t the team to repeat as dragon slayers.
