What a night! The Warriors made the Mavs look ordinary. The look on Cubans face the whole game was priceless. He looked like he was going to jump into the bench, and start cutting cheques to motivate the rest of the team. Nelson was masterful in his strategy. Like watching a well played game of risk…total domination. Avery had no answers. Forget the Suns, guess what the next cool thing will be? Small ball a la the Warriors.
I may be a bit excessive/premature in my praise, and the Mavs will probably end up winning the series, but the Warriors are finally on the way up since the RUN-TMC days.
And not to be outdone, the Nuggets showed a glimpse of what they envisioned in acquiring Iverson. Iverson and Anthony dropped 30 a piece on route to routing the Spurs IN San Antonio…crazy.
Kind of puts the Raptor loss in perspective. Not fully, but if I was a Mavs/Spurs fan, I would be PISSED OFF right now.

Did you see Cubans face when Baron Davis hit that late three to add insult to injury. It was priceless.

my favourite was during player intros, I may have read into it a bit too much, but it looked like he had a brain fart trying to do the matchups in his head.

it is funny to compare the 8th seeds in the east and west. the Magic just got in by the skin of their teeth with a sub .500 record and a team that is young and not very deep. But the Warriors are exciting and their uptempo style can catch any team flat footed. The Mavs are too good not to bounce back and win game 2, but the Warriors have a lot of confidence and it will be a good series to watch.
