I had a bad feeling going into tonight’s game, that this one would slip away, but never did i imagine it would be this bad. My heart and prayers go out to Garbajosa. That was a nasty fall he took, and we can all hope that he will be fine. He can take solace in the fact that he went down challenging a guaranteed two points by Jefferson in a game that was all but lost at that point. What heart he displayed tonight.
What was with the 5 replays in a row of the play? There is no need to show that sort of thing over and over at that point. Do people in TV have no sense of decency? I expect that sort of coverage from our counterparts to the south, but not in Canada. Appalling is an understatement.
How badly did TJ want this game? He stepped up in the fourth (after Garbo went down), and did everything he possibly could to make a game of it. It seems that the Raptors get lazy when they have three days between games. Not sure why, but I would like to see stats of games after a long layover (all-star break being the prime example).
Miami will be a tough opponent on Wednesday, and the Raptors will have to come out with some fire for that one. Would have been nice to maintain third in the East for a bit longer, make Washington fight to reclaim it.
