The Toronto Raptors gave me a lot during the first 31 games of the regular season…a 13-18 record (6-5 during Bosh’s absence). TJ Ford has surpassed all my expectations. He still plays a little erratic, but gives me a tingly feeling (Thanks Rod!) when he’s on the floor. Parker gave me the gift of smoothness and professionalism. Jorge gave me the gift of grit. Andrea gave me the gift of hope. Bosh gave me the gift of leadership. Calderon gave me the gift of consistency. PJ Tucker is just a badass, he needs the gift of more minutes. And finally…Colangelo gave me the gift of vision.

I am compelled to give back myself. I started this season with high hopes and aspirations for RaptorsTalk.com. I want to have game by game analysis, player analysis…but what happened you may ask? Well, as per usual, I bit off more than I could chew, and spread myself damn thing. So my new years resolution is as follows:

1. I WILL ENDEAVOR TO POST AT LEAST 1 STORY FOR EVERY TORONTO RAPTORS GAME FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON.
2. I WILL ENDEAVOR TO MAKE THE POSTS INTELLIGENT
3. I WILL DO MY BEST TO GIVE GAME/PLAYER/MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS THAT IS ON THE CUTTING EDGE
4. I WILL TRY TO GIVE RAPTORSTALK.COM A FACELIFT, AND GET THE FORUMS (WEAK AS THEY ARE) FLOWING AGAIN

How will I accomplish this all you may ask? I don’t know. All I know is that I will be putting in an hour a day, on average, into this bad boy, and hope for the best. Your support in 2007 will be much anticipated, appreciated, and hopefully compensated (again, I don’t know how I will compensate, but some sort of restitution will be made).
