I once had a dream that I was offered a contract for $21mil over 3 years, and didn’t have to perform felatio to get it. I had a dream, that I got this money in exchange for playing basketball. I had a dream that 36 year old basketball players, in the twilight of their careers, who averaged career lows in MPG, FG%, RPG, APG, SPG and PPG wouldn’t plead poverty at the notion of a 3/$21mill contract extension. This is the tail of Latrell Sprewell…
Athletes really upset me. Most people, in their lifetime, do not make more than $2million. How can these self-professed rulers of the universe be so arrogant to think that their million dollar plus a year salaries are not enough to live? Why don’t they work for a living? Try coming down from that high horse, and joining the rest of society, and really finding out what working like a dog to support your family really means.
So where is the silver lining in this whole Sprewell mess? The proof is in the pudding. The man is avoiding reports in his mansion in Wisconsin, will not work for a mere $1million (prorated as it is), and is contemplating who he will have to perform felatio on in order to secure a 3/$21mill contract at this stage of the game.
I actually have a job offer for Sprewell:
Here at RaptorsTalk.com, we are looking for someone, who needs to feed their family preferably, to fill the role of lacky. This job requires no skills or experience. you are, however, required to get us coffee, sharpen pencils, get us sandwiches and throw out the garbage at the end of the day. Send us your resume, along with 3 references, and we will see what we can do. Good luck in Wisconsin buddy…
